“Beauty has no age because every age is beautiful”

This quote was the very essence of the recently held Diler Sindhi Global Beauty Pageant, an event jointly organised by KAP and YAC, in association with Diler Sindhi. This cultural and beauty extravaganza was held on 26th March 2023 at Rama and Sundri Watumull Auditorium, K.C. College from 5:30 P.M. onwards.

The event has been a landmark for Sindhi Culture and this year’s edition was no exception. Hosted entirely in the Sindhi language, this one of a kind beauty pageant witnessed a participation of 30 women across age groups under the categories of Miss, Mrs. and Grandma. One of the many highlights of this event was that one of our KAP members, Mrs. Asha Idnani was crowned with the title of Elegance. At the age of 78 years, she portrayed a natural poise with great ease, thereby, inspiring all her contemporaries and proving that age is just a number! The audience of more than 180 Sindhis were left in complete awe of the enthusiastic display of grace by all the participants.

The members of KAP and YAC played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the entire event. The volunteers from YAC managed the event efficiently by managing the crowd, handling backstage coordination, providing technical assistance and vendor coordination among numerous other tasks.
