The first get-together of the Young Amil Circle (YAC) members as well as the Managing Committee for the year was held on Saturday, 28th January 2023 at The Bombay Presidency Radio Club in Colaba. It was the first gathering of YAC since the formation of the new managing committee. Hence, it was the perfect opportunity for all the future leaders of YAC to get to know each other well and take upon themselves the responsibility of taking the Young Amil Circle to newer heights by undertaking an array of initiatives. Mr. Ramesh Mansukhani (Hon. Secretary, KAP), and Mr. Devesh Makhijani (YAC Convenor) were also present to motivate the young members.

A welcome address was delivered by the President of YAC, Mr. Rohit Thadani, thereby setting the tone for the upcoming year. He encouraged the members to contribute to the community in an impactful way. Followed by this, Mr. Devesh Makhijani - the Convener and outgoing-President of the YAC brought forward his vision for the KAP and YAC and on introducing some structural changes in the managing committee of YAC in order to ensure a smooth flow of all the activities and creating a strong community platform for Amil Sindhis. Along with setting goals for the new year, various inputs on strategies to be implemented for increasing the reach of YAC through online mediums were received from the attendees. Additionally, the members brainstormed on ideas for dynamic events that can be conducted throughout the year. With additional inputs from the Hon. Secretary of the KAP, the YAC is now able to see a path towards building a stronger community under the guidance of the KAP.

This discussion, coupled with subsequent games and fun quizzes and exchanges, over a sumptuous meal indeed proved to be fruitful in enhancing the bond of the committee as well as laying down the road map for the year.
